From the Other Side of the Books.

Before founding The Skilled Bookkeeper, I spent my career working with financial records from multiple sides of the profession. I began in public accounting, gaining experience in audit before joining the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, where I spent more than seven years as a Texas Comptroller Tax Auditor.

That experience gave me an unusual perspective because I saw firsthand what well-maintained records look like, where problems tend to develop, and how seemingly small issues can become much larger when details are overlooked.

 

Today, I bring that experience to The Skilled Bookkeeper, combining meticulous financial oversight with QuickBooks expertise to help business owners build stronger financial systems, make better-informed decisions, and move forward with greater confidence.
